Marnel is the Director / Owner of the business that started QES in 2009. Her IT and business enterprises knowledge of over 30+ years coupled with highly experienced understanding of various industries has been a key factor in the successful growth of QE Services. She is very passionate, caring, and runs the business with a tight fist but with integrity, honesty, and professionalism. Her motto in life is “Treat everyone fair and everyone is important no matter who you are”. She is the mom of the office, always willing to listen and willing to give advice if asked. She values everyone that is part of her life and loves to teach and mentor her team to become strong and successful in what they do!

Ursula is a key player within the QES family! She has been with the QES-family from the beginning in 2009. She has grown so much from when she started as an admin clerk to her current role as Recruitment Manager. Her style is that of professionalism and “calmness”. She is very process driven and between the different styles of the recruiters, she is the one that keeps the recruitment office on their toes. Her positivity and love for people are just some of her strong attributes. Her team sees her as a good leader with strong attributes and they respect her opinion and guidance. Ursula is passionate about what she does and guides her team with that passion. She is a big asset to QES.

Gretchen is a mini-Marnel as many will call her. She is the Operational Manager of QES and a Jack of All Trades. She joined the QES-family in 2010. She has moved from being the friendly face that greets you at the office to the role of Account Manager and lately Operational Manager, visiting our contractors and clients. She remains the “control-freak” of the office and rubs off on the rest of her peers by teaching them how things need to be done. She is an eager learner and therefore makes it her business to know everything about everyone. She is a perfectionist at heart and therefore her motto is that of “rather too early than too late”. For Gretchen NO job is too big and her “can-do” attitude is a real blessing for QES.

Derrick joined the QES family in 2011 and is one of our Senior recruiters. His recruitment style is different from all the rest and his “stalker” approach ensure him to be in touch with his candidates 24/7. He has through the years build solid relationships with his candidates and that is one of his strong attributes that makes him a good and solid recruiter. He is passionate about everything he starts and will go to the extreme once he finds interest in something. His love and knowledge for all different kind of music genres is quite impressive. His funny personality and jokes has had many of us in tears in the office. He brings much more to QES than just being a recruiter!

Micarla joined the QES family in 2022, and we were thrilled to bring her onboard after getting to know her while she was working with one of our clients. As a recruiter, Micarla has quickly proven to be a force to be reckoned with. Impressively, she made a successful placement within her first month, despite having no prior recruitment experience. Micarla is a fast learner with a strong desire to excel, and her enthusiasm and dedication are infectious.

Johann is one of the new additions to QES family. He brings a good mix of experience, a down to earth attitude and a soft approach to everything he does. Having worked in hospitality, finance and sales, he has strong people skills, a sharp eye for detail and a good understanding of business. Johann has a natural way of connecting with people and understanding their needs, which makes him a great fit for the QES team. We are excited to have him on board and look forward to seeing him grow and make a positive impact.

Shadey joined the QES team in 2024 as Marnel's Personal Assistant, since then she has seamlessly integrated into her role of contract administrator.
She possesses a remarkable ability to read and understand body language, which enables her to build strong connections with colleagues and contractors.
Her calm demeanour and approachable nature contribute to a relaxed and positive working environment.
A perfectionist at heart, Shadey brings a high level of precision and attention to detail—qualities that make her exceptionally well-suited to the role she is fulfilling. She is an asset to the QES team.

Keshia joined the QES family in August 2025 and has a kind and caring energy. Coming from a hospitality background, she has a natural way with people and genuinely enjoys building relationships, making her a great fit for recruitment. She is always keen to ask questions, get involved and take on new challenges. Her positive attitude and willingness to learn have already made a great impression. She brings a calm, friendly approach to everything she does and is always willing to lend a hand.
