Business Architect / Analyst

Responsibilities:
• Define business design principles and create the blueprint for the Wealth Bonus offering, ensuring alignment with suggested offerings and value propositions.
• Define and document business requirements for relevant platforms to meet business objectives.
• Identify underlying solution/system enablers and define requirements for each identified platform.
• Map end-to-end business processes and operational flows, highlighting integrated activities and events.
• Identify and map relationships between different business units, including roles, responsibilities, governance, and standards.
• Document high-level user stories for solution design.
• Assist Business Owners and Product Owners with backlog creation, prioritization, and process management.
• Contribute to conceptualization, design, and implementation of integrated business solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Enterprise-wide understanding of business, with specific exposure to insurance (short-term or life).
• Strong appreciation of strategy, processes, capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance.
• Experience in identifying structural issues, functional interdependencies, and cross-silo redundancies.
• Proven ability to apply architectural principles to business solutions.
• Skilled in assimilating and correlating complex documentation and articulating its relevance to high-priority business issues.
• Experience with model-based representations and creating high-level business architecture models.
• Extensive experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives.
• Proficient in business process modeling using various tools and techniques.
• Experienced in Agile methodologies, including SCRUM and user stories.
• Understanding of business and IT strategy alignment, workflow automation, and benefit realization.
• Previous experience in a similar role within financial services, ideally in short-term or life insurance.
