Senior Project Coordinator

Contract - Bellville
Responsibilities
• Support the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and delivery of IT projects.
• Maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, and critical paths.
• Coordinate project activities across multiple teams, vendors, and workstreams.
• Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables are completed according to agreed timelines.
• Identify, track, and escalate project risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between business and technical stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, dashboards, and status updates.
• Support project governance activities and ensure compliance with project delivery frameworks.
• Assist with meeting coordination, action tracking, and follow-up activities.
• Engage with technical teams to understand project impacts and translate them into delivery plans.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project coordination and delivery practices.
Qualifications & Experience
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years' experience using Microsoft Project in a project coordination environment.
• Proven experience coordinating IT projects within complex business environments.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, vendors, and external partners.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience maintaining project plans, schedules, milestones, dashboards, and status reports.
• Exposure to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Understanding of project governance, risk management, and project administration processes.
• Ability to work within fast-paced and evolving project environments.
