• Execute functional testing across mobile applications and backend services to ensure alignment with business and       technical requirements
• Design, review, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios using Xray integrated with Jira
• Perform API testing using Postman, including validation of request/response structures and data integrity
• Log, track, and manage defects in Jira with clear reproduction steps, severity classification, and supporting evidence
• Participate in requirement analysis sessions, test planning, and estimation activities within Agile sprints
• Critically assess requirements to identify gaps, risks, and edge cases, applying risk-based testing approaches
• Support regression testing cycles and contribute to automation readiness of test cases
• Validate integrations across multiple services, platforms, and end-to-end workflows
• Conduct basic data validation using SQL to support testing and defect analysis
• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams during Dev-to-QA handovers to ensure test readiness
• Assist with test data preparation, environment validation, and release readiness activities
• Provide input into QA governance, test coverage improvement, and quality assurance best practices
• Perform cross-platform validation and behaviour comparison across Android and iOS environments
• Utilise browser developer tools (e.g. Chrome DevTools) for network inspection and debugging where required

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent (preferred)
• 3–5 years’ experience in manual software testing within an Agile delivery environment
• Proven experience in functional, integration, and regression testing across web, mobile, and backend services
• Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira and Xray
• Experience in API testing using Postman, including request/response validation
• Experience testing mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms
• Basic to intermediate SQL skills for data validation, troubleshooting, and defect investigation
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
• Experience analysing business and technical requirements and translating them into structured test scenarios
• Exposure to integration testing, end-to-end testing, and data validation processes
• Exposure to performance testing concepts and tools (e.g. JMeter, k6)
• Experience working in cloud-based environments (e.g. AWS) for log tracing or validation
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release processes
• Basic exposure to test automation frameworks and automation readiness practice
• Experience with device farms such as LambdaTest or similar

• Strong understanding of manual testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and sprint-based delivery models
• Proficiency in test case design, defect management, and test execution tools
• Ability to perform API validation, integration testing, and end-to-end testing
• Basic analytical SQL capability for data validation and troubleshooting
• Understanding of QA governance, release cycles, and risk-based testing
