Responsibilities
• Provide support for bespoke software solutions (primarily remote, occasional onsite visits)
• Manage daily administration and operations in SQL-rich environments (scripting, troubleshooting, maintaining databases)
• Liaise with both internal departments and external customers to resolve issues efficiently
• Own and manage help desk calls from start to finish, ensuring timely resolution
• Maintain accurate help desk records and escalate issues when necessary
• Conduct ad-hoc software testing prior to client updates
• Support product deployments, installations, and upgrades
• Train clients on software applications as needed
Experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Microsoft SQL Server / SQL Express administration and scripting
• Proven experience with Help Desk administration (call logging, tracking, escalation, and closure)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Exposure to ITIL principles
• Experience in the fruit or meat industry highly beneficial (similar operational environments)
• Experience with handheld or mobile scanners and APK installations
