Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing on web applications to identify defects and usability issues
- Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on business and functional requirements
- Report, track, and manage defects using tools such as Jira
- Conduct different types of testing, including regression, smoke, functional, exploratory, and API testing
- Prepare and maintain test environments and test data
- Document test results and provide clear feedback to improve product quality
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other team members to ensure effective test coverage
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of software testing experience
- Strong knowledge of BDD (Behaviour Driven Development) and Gherkin syntax
- Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Charles Proxy, Git, JMeter, or similar
- Solid experience with API testing
- Ability to write detailed, clear, and informative test cases
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are advantageous
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build QA dashboards, track metrics, and communicate results effectively
