Regional Sales Manager

Responsibilities
• Plan fortnightly sales call schedules to ensure a value-added approach
• Learn and apply client classifications
• Build market share across all categories
• Drive and achieve volumes/budget across all categories
• Build on and research product and industry knowledge
• Work on promotional activity as per standards
• Build solid, long-standing client relationships
• Absolute focus on customer and service
• Weekly sales reports
• Proactively look for new business and explore opportunities in the market
• Provide information on market trends as required
• Sales administration
• Establish and manage client account agreements
• Develop new relationships through field visits
• Review customer accounts monthly to identify and solve queries and outstanding matters
Qualifications
• Relevant degree in Food Technology, BComm, or an equivalent business-related field

• Driver’s licence and travel is required
• 5 or more years’ experience in sales, preferably in FMCG or commercial sectors, with experience in handling key accounts
