Senior Business Analyst

Contract - Cape Town
Responsibilities
 - Identify stakeholders and determine activities for analysis
 - Track and communicate progress throughout the SDLC
 - Estimate analysis work and understand source systems (databases & process flows)
 - Investigate, evaluate, design, and propose solutions
 - Validate requirements with stakeholders and document them clearly
 - Facilitate workshops/meetings and manage stakeholder expectations
 - Negotiate, influence, and resolve conflicts
 - Prioritize business requirements
 - Use diagrams, models, and documentation to conceptualize requirements
 - Define assumptions, constraints, and risks
 - Ensure requirements meet quality standards and align with business architecture
 - Ensure solutions meet stakeholder needs
 - Assist testing teams to validate solutions against requirements
 - Assess readiness of the organization to implement solutions
 - Identify new capabilities needed to meet business objectives
 - Define which capabilities will be delivered by projects/iterations
 - Act as the bridge between business and delivery teams during the SDLC
 - Document and manage requirements
 - Investigate production issues and propose solutions
 - Perform data analysis to find issues and opportunities for improvement
Experience
 - Significant experience in business analysis within a formal environment
 - Experience in the financial services industry
 - Exposure to contact centre environments
 - Experience with debt collection processes (advantageous)
 - Hands-on experience using SQL for querying databases and creating test cases
 - Experience working within a Scrum/Agile development process

 - Strong business knowledge of the finance industry
 - Solid understanding of business analysis concepts, tools, and methodologies
 - Skilled in facilitation, research, modelling, and defining requirements
