Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budgets
• Lead project teams to deliver objectives on time and within budget
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions when necessary
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and vendors
• Communicate project updates, risks, and issues clearly and timely
• Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring alignment with project objectives
• Allocate resources effectively to meet project goals
• Coordinate with department managers to assign team members to tasks
• Resolve resource conflicts during project execution
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations
• Implement quality assurance processes for validation of outcomes
• Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
• Lead and guide project teams, fostering a collaborative environment
• Motivate team members to achieve project goals and overcome challenges
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices
• Conduct post-project reviews and apply lessons learned to future projects
Qualifications & Experience
• IT Degree or Diploma
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in IT, with at least 5 years in software development
• Solid knowledge of the system development lifecycle from concept to deployment
• Experience in Financial Services or Insurance is advantageous
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders at multiple levels, both on-shore and off-shore
• Hands-on experience applying industry-standard project management methodologies
• Agile experience, ideally with Scrum; familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
